'89年に[Nu Groove]に残した"True Story Of House Music"(そこに収録の"The New Age Of Faith"はSabres Of Paradise"Smokebelch"の元ネタとして有名)でカルトな人気を誇り、ベルリン在住の昨今は[Yore]から12"をリリースしたりGerdやTJ Kongらの作品に起用されるなど、今も現役で活動しているNYアンダーグラウンド・ハウス・シーン出身のプロデューサー、Elbee Bad。'80年代終盤〜'90年代初頭に残した彼の名作を集めたコンピ『The True Story Of House Music』が[Rush Hour]から2枚組で登場。いま聴いても抜群にカッコいいオールドスクールな地下ハウス・トラックがずらり集い、上述のバレアリックな名作"The New Age Of Faith"ももちろん収録。しかも[Running Back]主宰Gerd Jansonによるライナー付き。大推薦盤！
